1. Foreword
The protection of personal data is an important concern for us. In the following, we explain which personal data is collected, processed and used when you visit the website and when placing an order. It applies to all users of the webshop, including registered account holders, customer administrators and visitors.

2. Data processing body
The responsible body is Klüber Lubrication Austria GmbH, Franz-W.-Schererstrasse 32, 5020 Salzburg.

3. What is personal data?
Personal data is information that can be assigned to you individually. Examples of this include: Your name, address, mailing address, telephone number, or email address. Non-personal data is information such as the number of users of a site.

4. Collection, processing and use of personal data
Personal data is collected via this website if you provide it to us voluntarily, e.g. as part of a registration (log-in), by sending e-mails, by ordering products, or when a customer administrator creates a user account for you (invitation). The webshop is used exclusively for the processing of sales transactions. Information about new products may be displayed in the webshop, but no personal data is collected or retained for advertising purposes.

4.1 Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – Contract performance: processing orders, deliveries, invoicing, account management.
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – Consent: analytics cookies (Matomo, see section 6).
Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – Legal obligations: tax and commercial law retention obligations.
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – Legitimate interests: ensuring IT security, fraud prevention, webshop functionality.

4.2 Categories of data
We collect and process the following categories of data when you interact with our webshop:
•    Account data: name, company, e-mail, password.
•    Contact data: delivery/billing addresses, telephone number.
•    Transaction data: orders, invoices, payment details.

4.4 Retention periods
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations

5. User Account
The use of the webshop (I understood that this is not a re-order shop, which is relevant is terms of data stored. Please confirm) is reserved for a limited group of users and requires us to set up a user account in advance. The user account is password protected. In your user account, you can, among other things: view and manage your address and contact details, your current and old orders, but also the e-mails you receive from us. You are obliged to treat your login data confidentially, in particular not to make it accessible to any unauthorized third party. We are not liable for misused login data, unless we are responsible for the misuse. After you have finished communicating with us, you should close the browser window or mobile applications, especially if you share the computer or mobile devices with others.

6. Using Matomo

6.1 Matomo (based on log files)
This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open source software for the statistical evaluation of visitor access. The provider of the Matomo software is InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand. The European Commission has recognised New Zealand as providing an adequate level of data protection (adequacy decision of 19 December 2012, C(2012) 9557). Therefore, no further safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are required for this transfer.
We use the Matomo analytics tool to evaluate visits to our webshop. With the help of the locally installed analysis tool, we evaluate user behavior locally on the server. Matomo does not collect the data itself, but uses the database of the web server. Matomo shortens each requesting IP address into the log file before it is stored. This means that the database is sufficiently anonymised and no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons. Data is processed only on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by unchecking the opt-out box provided in the webshop.

6.2 Matomo (based on cookies)
If you give your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), Matomo uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is stored on a server in Germany. We have configured Matomo so that no profiling takes place.
The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before it is stored by abbreviating the last 2 bytes. You have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by changing the settings of your browser software. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner or the opt-out function in the webshop. We would like to point out that if you set it accordingly, not all functions of this website may be available.

For more information on the privacy settings of the Matomo software, please visit the following link:  https://matomo.org/docs/privacy/.
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for our recording purposes. In our case, this happens automatically after 2 years and 14 days.
You can object to the processing of data by Matomo in three different ways.
File an objection: On the one hand, you can prevent cookies from being stored in your browser altogether. However, this means that you may no longer be able to use some functions of our website that require identification. On the other hand, you can activate the "Do-not-Track" setting in your browser. We have configured Matomo to respect this attitude.

7. Use of cookies

7.1 What is a cookie?
We use cookies in accordance with Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC as amended) and the GDPR. Essential cookies may be stored without consent. All other cookies require your prior consent. Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for using our website. However, cookies help us to design our websites and our offers for you accordingly and make it easier for you to use them, for example by using the shopping cart function when shopping or by storing certain entries from you in such a way that you do not have to repeat them constantly.

7.2 Cookies we use
We use cookies as part of the ordering process so that you can fill and manage your shopping cart and to make your visit to our homepage attractive and to always optimize it to the needs of the visitors. In addition, the use of cookies enables the use of certain functions on our homepage.
We use two types of cookies. The so-called "session cookies" are only stored for the duration of your stay on our website and are automatically deleted from your computer as soon as you close your browser. The so-called "persistent cookies" are stored on your computer by your browser for a longer period of time. On a further visit, it is then automatically recognized that you have already been to us and which inputs and settings you prefer. These persistent cookies also delete themselves automatically after the specified time (between one hour and two years). These cookies in particular serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Thanks to these files, it is possible, for example, to display the language you have chosen again the next time you visit.
No personal data is stored in the cookies we use. They cannot therefore be assigned to you or to any other specific person. When the cookie is activated, an identification number (unique identifier) is assigned to it. An assignment of your personal data to this identification number is not possible at any time and will not be carried out. Your name, IP address or similar data that would allow the cookie to be assigned to you is not collected at any time. On the basis of cookie technology, we only receive pseudonymised information.

7.3 Prevention of cookies
If you do not want to take advantage of cookies, you can modify the storage of cookies in the security settings of your browser. In most cases, the setting option is located in the Extras menu under Settings or Internet Options. You can also delete cookies that have already been set. Please note that if you deactivate cookies, you will not be able to fully use all the functions of our pages.

8. Information, correction and deletion of data
In addition to the options already shown for revoking consent or objecting to the use of data for advertising purposes, you have the option of having your data corrected, blocked or deleted by us at any time. Please note that we cannot delete any data that is necessary to process an order or to enforce existing rights and claims, or that we are legally obliged to keep. We would also like to point out that your right to delete data may be limited by statutory retention obligations that we must observe. In addition, you have the option of finding out at any time what personal data we have stored about you.
