Data Protection Statement

1. Foreword

Protection of personal data is an important priority for us. We explain below which personal data will be collected, processed and used when you visit the website or place an order.

2. Data processing office

The office responsible is Klüber Lubrication Polska Sp. z o.o., ul. Pilotów 19, Janikowo, 62-006, Kobylnica.

3. What is personal data?

Personal data is information that can be assigned to you personally. Examples are, amongst others, your name, physical address, postal address, telephone number or e-mail address. Non-personal data is information such as the number of users of a site.

4. Collecting, processing and using personal data

Personal data is collected via this website if you provide it to us voluntarily, e.g. in the context of logging on, by subscribing to our newsletter, sending e-mails or ordering products. We use this data for the purposes that are stated or which arise from the relevant action, for example to process your order. The data is only used commercially for the purposes of our own advertising (including recommendation advertising).

Conveyance to third parties ensues only insofar as this is necessary for fulfilment of the contract and provided we have concluded corresponding data processing contracts with them in compliance with the statutory provisions.

If you have agreed by e-mail to the use of your data for advertising purposes, you will have issued the following approval:

□ Yes, I want my e-mail address to be stored by Klüber Lubrication Polska Sp. z o.o and I want it to be used to provide me with regular information by e-mail about products, innovations and services in the sphere of lubricants. I may revoke my approval at any time using a cancellation link contained in the newsletter or by post to Klüber Lubrication Polska Sp. z o.o

We also use your e-mail address to offer you our similar goods or services. You may object to this use of your e-mail address at any time without incurring costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. The simplest way to do this is by clicking the link at the end of our e-mail and in this way cancelling the newsletter. You may also send your objection by post. Please use the contact address stated under point 9.

We also draw your attention to the fact that you can issue a general objection at any time to the use of your data for the purposes of advertising as well as market or opinion research. Please use the contact address stated under point 9.

We convey personal recommendations to you. These are based on your shopping history, i.e. products and product categories that you have viewed, searched for or purchased previously. This "information" is stored in pseudonymised form pursuant to Section 15 (3) p. 1 of the Telemedia Act [Telemediengestez, TMG]. It cannot be used to identify you personally. If you do not wish your shopping history to be stored and displayed for these purposes, you may object to it at any time. Please note that we will then no longer be able to offer you any tailored recommendations in this browser. Please use the contact address stated under point 9.

5. User account

The use of the re-order shop is reserved to a restricted group of users and requires a user account to be set up by you beforehand. The user account is password protected. In your user account you can, amongst other things, view and manage your address and contact data as well as your current and previous orders and also view e-mails you have received from us. You are required to keep your login data confidential, and, in particular, to refrain from making it available to unauthorised third parties. We shall not be liable for misuse of login data unless we have caused the misuse. When you have finished communication with us, you should close the browser window or mobile applications, especially if you use the computer or mobile devices together with other users.

6. Use of Matomo

6.1. Matomo (based on log files)

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open source software for statistical analysis of visitor access. The provider of the Matomo software is InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand.

With the help of the locally installed analysis tool, we evaluate user behavior locally on the server. Matomo does not collect the data itself, but accesses the database of the web server. Matomo truncates each requesting IP address before storing it in the log file. Thus, the database is sufficiently anonymized and it is not possible to draw conclusions about individual persons.

6.2. Matomo (based on cookies)

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open source software for statistical analysis of visitor access. The provider of the Matomo software is InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand.

Matomo uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is stored on a server in Germany. We have configured Matomo so that no profiling takes place.

The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before storage by truncating the last 2 bytes. You have the option to prevent the installation of cookies by changing the setting of your browser software. We would like to point out that with the corresponding setting, not all functions of this website may be available.

You can find more information about the privacy settings of the Matomo software at the following link: https://matomo.org/docs/privacy/.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for our recording purposes. In our case, this is done automatically after 2 years and 14 days.

You can object to the processing of data by Matomo in three different ways: First, you can completely prevent the storage of cookies in your browser. However, this may mean that you can no longer use some functions of our website that require identification. On the other hand, you can activate the „Do-not-Track“ setting in your browser. We have configured Matomo to respect this setting.

7.1 What is a cookie?

Cookies are small files sent by a web server to your browser and stored on your devices. EU Directive 2009/136/EC stipulates that we may store cookies on your computer if they are essential for operation of this website but that we must obtain your consent for all other cookies that exceed this scope. Acceptance of cookies is not a requirement for use of our website. Nevertheless, cookies help us to design our website and our offers for you and make it easier to use the website, for example the use of the shopping basket function when shopping or particular information about you that is stored in such a way that you do not have to keep re-entering it.

7.2 Cookies used by us

We use cookies in the context of the order process so that you can fill your shopping basket and manage it and in order to make our homepage attractive to our visitors and optimise it continuously based on their needs. Furthermore, the use of cookies makes it possible to use certain functions on our homepage.

We use two types of cookies. Session cookies are only stored for the duration of your visit to our website and are deleted again automatically on your computer as soon as you close your browser. Persistent cookies are stored by your browser on your computer on a long-term basis. If you make another visit it will automatically recognise that you have visited us before and which entries and settings you prefer. These persistent cookies are also deleted automatically after the pre-defined time (between one hour and two years). These cookies, in particular, serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Thanks to these files it is possible, for example, for your chosen language to be shown again when you next make a visit.

No personal data is stored in the cookies used by us. Therefore, they cannot be assigned to you or to another specific person. When the cookie is activated, an identification number (unique identifier) is assigned to it. An assignment of your personal data to this identification number is not possible at any time and is not done. Your name, your IP address and similar data that would allow assignment of the cookie to you are never used. Through this cookie technology we merely receive pseudonymised information.

7.3 Prevention of cookies

If you do not wish to make use of the benefits of cookies, you can modify the storage of cookies in the security settings of your browser. This setting is normally found in the Extras menu under the Settings or Internet options menu item. You can also delete cookies that have already been set. Please note that if you deactivate cookies you will not be able to make full use of all the functions on our pages.

8. Information, correction and deletion of data

In addition to the options already highlighted to revoke consent or to object to the use of data for advertising purposes, you also have the option at any time to have your data corrected, blocked or deleted by us. Please note that we are unable to delete any data that is needed for processing of an order or for implementation of existing rights and claims or which we are required to retain by law. We also draw attention to the fact that your right to deletion of data may be restricted by statutory retention requirements that we are required to observe. You also have the option at any time to find out which personal data relating to you has been stored by us.
